Initially a pioneer in the world of aviation, Gabriel Voisin (1880-1973) was a one-of-a-kind automotive manufacturer, designing cars that defy categorisation. Today, after years of being forgotten about, the brand appears to be coming back to life. At auctions, Voisin cars fetch premium prices.
It took over two years to imagine and produce this book paying tribute to the Voisin brand. For the agency, this was a labour of love, bringing a wonderful French brand from the 1930s back to life, using contemporary graphic codes.
Presented in an elegant box, with a stitched cover displaying the Art Deco motif typical of Voisin upholstery, the book was a great success when it was published in late 2014. It was nominated for the most beautiful car book of the year Grand Prize.
