As the oldest and most prestigious motor racing circuit in the world, the 24 Hours of Le Mans is mythic; a major sporting event doubling as an hugely popular event that attracts more than 250,000 spectators from around the world to the Sarthe each year.

The ACO consulted us to create a visual communication platform for the 2018 event, our mission being to develop its audience by addressing a younger and more international public.

We proposed a graphic signature built around a powerful and universal message, the rallying   cry  of all motor sports fans, the roar of the racing car engine: VRROOOM!

Its resolutely modern graphic treatment is inspired by light painting, a glimpse of the magic of the race which runs partly at night.
